TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED To Enter Studio In October

September 25, 2008

UK death/grind band TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED has issued the following update:

"To start with, we have just finished our period of summer touring with BLEED FROM WITHIN, SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY and MESHUGGAH. Thanks to everyone who came out to the shows, bought merch or just shook our hand and told us they enjoyed our set. We loved every minute of it and we thank you for your support.

"On another note, thank you to everyone for giving our new members Jonny [Burgan, vocals] and Dave [Purnell, bass] such a warm welcome to the band. They're fitting in great and I'm sure people who have seen us recently will agree.

"As you can see, there is a large gap between now and our last tour of 2008 with CRYPTOPSY, BENEATH THE MASSACRE and out boys in IGNOM. For those of you that are wondering, yes, we shall be entering the studio on October 6th to record our follow-up album witch is yet to be named and released via Rising Records and Metal Blade Records sometime early 2009. Expect it to be faster, slower, heavier and more brutal than ever. We are really proud with the body of work we have created and we can't wait for you guys to hear it.

"We will be playing Hellfire festival in London during this period but if you don't catch us there make sure you come see us in November."

Formed in late 2006 in Bath England by Rob Purnell and Martyn Evans, TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED has been creating some of the most extreme music in death metal, forging the new with the old school. Their blistering blast filled death metal is a devastating aural assault earning them the title as the UK's heaviest band.
